FOD*BOSS, The Rapid Response Airfield Sweeper

Overview

A revolutionary new system of removing FOD that sweeps faster and more efficiently than ever before. This remarkable speed sweeper controls FOD (Foreign Object Damage) such as nuts & bolts, washers, rivets, stones, loose baggage hardware, sand & empty drink containers.

The FOD*BOSS works by capturing debris as it passes over the tarmac. The force of friction and a series of specially designed brushes scoop up foreign objects and hold them in an easy to empty mesh capture zone.

With a sweep width of 2.4 meter (8 feet), 4.8 meters (16 feet), or 7.2 meters (24 feet), you can clean up to 300,000 square meters (3 million square feet) per hour, at speeds from 6 kph (4 mph) to 40 kph (25 mph).

The FOD*BOSS is now standard equipment at international airports, military bases & local airstrips around the world.

The FOD*BOSS will collect all types of debris left behind by suction and vacuum sweepers, from large metallic objects to very fine sand.
